1, A New World of Silk . its Medical use
Under guidance and cooperation of Dr. Kobayashi, a specialist of Cancer , we conducted bedside clinical tests with his inpatients and are searching for medical proofs of patients’ conditions improved by clothes.
This can be achived by keeping clean environmental conditions inside of the clothes and shall support healthy skin activities and blood circulation. This also eases stress to the skin and heals patients mentally and physically as well. We have been systematically developing such the all round Medical Clothes as “Clean Clothes in the 21st century”.
Such a super-powered fiber is an entirely new type of raw silk “BIOSILK” (patents pending in Japan, USA and China). We, HAC Ltd., and the Sericulture Science Research Laboratory, Tokyo, Japan have developed together this Biosilk, which is a natural fiber produced from innovated technology that totally changed conventional concepts on silk.
Silk consists of 2 kinds of protein, Fibroin as a core and gum-like Sericin around it. The sericin is removed to some extent before weaving silk fabrics, as the sericin is hard and not useful. But recently scientific researches show that the sericin has good features to contribute to the health.
There is also another unutilized Wild Silk. We noted its fiber construction with multi-holes that is further rich in deodorant, keeping warm, and so on.
This Biosilk is produced by reeling these 2 types of raw silk, sericin silk from domesticated silkworms feeding mulberry and from the wild silk of non-mulberry races.

The recent processing technology also makes it possible to knit the silk yarn containing sericin with high speed knitting machine. Thus, we succeed to manufacture this Biosilk from yarn to the final products all in Japan as the most reliable and safety clothes.
